EU REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemical)

EU REACH, which became effective on June 1, 2007, is a EU regulation that requires registration assessment approvals to be received according to the distribution and hazard levels for all chemical substances (mixtures and products containing chemical substances) manufactured or imported at least 1 TPA within the EU.

Subject to EU REACH Fulfillment

  • Manufacturer in the EU
  • Importer in the EU
  • Only representative (OR) in EU
information Clients in Korea may appoint the European branch of KTR to be their OR for registrations to export their products to the EU.

Substances Applicable to EU REACH

  • Substances of at least 1 TPA
  • Mixture : Mixture substances of at least 1 TPA
  • Complete product : Substance intentionally or unintentionally released from the complete product of at least 1 TPA
  • Among monomers combined with polymer or initiation substance, the substance of at least 1 TPA and the figure of at least 2% (w/w)
