Overview of exemption from registration: Those under subparagraphs of Article 11 of the Act on Registration and Evaluation of Chemicals may manufacture or import a chemical substance without registration under Article 10 (1) and (5) or reporting under paragraph (4) of the aforesaid Article:

- Chemical substance imported by being contained in a machine
- Chemical substance imported along with a machine or device used for a test run
- Chemical substances in solid form that are included in products with certain functions and does not leaked during use
- Substances designated with very low risk concerns and publicly announced by the Minister of Environment following deliberation by the Evaluation Committee
