The National Institute of Chemical Safety has been establishing a comprehensive plan since 2020 to develop test methods for verifying whether hazardous chemical substances contained in mixtures exceed or fall below designated content thresholds, and has been conducting annual research based on this plan.
As guidelines and commentaries on test methods have been prepared for 126 substances for which development, validation, and applicability have been confirmed, the Institute intends to collect opinions from stakeholders.
